HISTORY
Established in 1896, Hermosa Hotel was originally operated by the Rosin family and offers visitors a glimpse into the island’s past. As one of the few hotels to survive Catalina’s 1915 fire, the hotel is an iconic part of the island’s history. Since its early days, it has been known as a scuba divers’ “dive hotel” with a community atmosphere.
Fast forward 100+ years, we are bridging the Hermosa Hotel’s historic character and charm to present day Catalina. Hermosa Hotel captures the essence of the eclectic diver community and is a beacon of the island’s history and bright future.
