CATALINA ADVENTURE TOURS

Join the captain and his crew on this semi-submersible vessel (you are seated 6-feet underwater but the craft does not fully submerge) that takes adventurers through Lover’s Cove, a State Marine Conservation Area sanctuary, where they will traverse amazing undersea gardens and ocean habitats, venturing into the deep kelp forests on an exploratory mission that is both educational and entertaining. Or, if you’d rather view from on top of the water, try the Glass Bottom Boat.

MEMORIAL AND BOTANIC GARDENS

Check out the Wrigley Memorial & Botanic Gardens. There are fantastic opportunities there for pictures. If the kids don’t feel up to hiking, at least visit the mausoleum, where William Wrigley was originally laid to rest (he no longer resides there). The entrance fee is $7 for adults but goes towards helping our nature preserve stay just that – preserved.
