Hermosa Hotel was made for groups and families! Our charming rooms connect and give groups the opportunity to run through the historic hallways while making our home your home-away-from-home! Come visit and bring the family – fiddo included! We have storage for dive gear to golf clubs as well as a few extra beach chairs to get you all to the beach! Hermosa has welcomed everyone from dive-groups, marching bands, and scout groups. We love family reunions and birthday celebrations – let us know when you book your travel so we can be a part of the celebration when you arrive!
Hermosa Hotel has been a gathering place for groups traveling to the island for over 120 years. Originally built in 1896 and only 4 owners since have all helped build onto the property to add space for more guests – because let’s be honest, everyone wants to come to Catalina!
Most rooms have kitchenettes and in addition to that Hermosa Hotel has a handful of “family rooms” with full kitchens allowing guests to embrace the “stay awhile” beach vibe. If your group needs to spill over into adjoining rooms we have those too! Follow the stairs up to the “Preferred Landing” and all your guests can have a bungalow with a kitchenette. Our cottage section is adjacent to the hotel and great for those traveling with pups as you are just steps from the sidewalk and easy access to walks. We love when guests leave their doors open and run back and forth from visiting grandma, cousins, and aunts and uncles all together!
We also have showers to help you rinse off all that sand before you go into your room. We also offer these facilities to our guests after check-out to make the most of your holiday. Store your bags in the locker room and come back to rinse off before hoping on the boat! We are here to help you make the most of your island getaway.
